The Santasiere's folly is a chess opening where White plays 1.Nf3 and after 1..d5 or 1..Nf6 it follows 2.b4. We suppose that 1.Nf3 prevents Black from playing e5, but this is not always the case.
The following move order 1.Nf3 d5 2.b4 e5!? (see diagram)
is absolutely a rare choice in master play, and it is not contained in Santasiere's own work about his opening. But it is a possible choice. Here you can fine three master level games (both players elo > 2.000). Does 1.Nf3 d5 2.b4 e5!? deserve a try? You choose!
